Albert Returned Safely

Sunday we attended bull riding again. We had a lot of fun but that was the case the whole time we were there.

As in a earlier post you saw what happened to Albert (Stacy's husband)...well when we attended bull riding Sunday night The Border Patrol's Big Boss returned him to us.

After bull riding was over we headed back to The Casino at the Mandalay Bay (where we were staying) and decided to play a little.

J.B Mauney who is a bull rider and some other guys were playing craps. We decided to hang out at the table. Just so you'll know who J.B. is he's in the above picture with Stacy and in the picture below.

Anyway...we both learned to play craps...it was a lot of fun...plus we had a fun table. All I'm gonna say is we played Craps for like 6 hours and now I know why they call the game Craps...cause in the morning when you wake up (or whatever time it is when you wake up) you feel like CRAP!

Vegas is done...it's over...we're all home safely. We had a good time....some things we can talk about and some things we can't ...but it's all good. Can't wait to see what the next adventure holds.

Oh...and you think the story about Albert is that...a story...

Donny and Marie

These are pictures from our first night in Vegas. We went to The Flamingo to see Donny and Marie.

For those of you that know we way back in my early teenage years know that I loved The Osmonds. I was a huge fan (to say the least) and have always liked them even until now. They hold a special place in my growing up.

So....after I had decided to go with Stacy and Albert for bull riding I found out Donny and Marie were playing the same time we were going to be there. I made the decision to buy tickets .... after all i couldn't go to Vegas and not see them. That would of been a sin.

I bought tickets that included a meet and greet afterwards. As a teenager I had met Donny and the other Osmonds several times and also a few in my 20's....so why should it be any different in my 40's.

Needless to say the show was AWESOME and so were they...very entertaining.

I'm just glad Albert got to see the show since Border Patrol took him 2 days later....ha!

Sorry the pictures are a little spread out...I had to scan them in since the show people took the pictures and we had to buy them, it wasn't done with our camera so I'm having a hard time fixing them on the blog...apparently it's different.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I know I did!

Where In The World Is Albert???

Still in Vegas....but I've been asked where Albert, Stacy's husband is because he was not in any of our cowboy pictures...well...this was taken about 1 PM Saturday and it's now midnight and this picture is the last time we saw him....hopefully we'll be able to find him before heading out on Monday...will keep you posted...

Ride 'Em Cowboy

Greetings From Las Vegas, Nevada

I'm in Vegas with best gal pal Stacy and her husband Albert. Some months back Stacy and Albert invited me to Vegas to see the semi finals in bull riding (PBR). Stacy is a member of the PBR so Albert and I joined her in a meet and greet today with the bull riders.

Needless to say I know nothing about the PBR but there sure were some cute young cowboys...ahhh...to be 21 again.

So, I thought I'd share just a few pictures with you of the sea of cowboys we saw today.

The first picture is of Me and Kody Lostroh.

The next picture is of Billy Robinson, Stacy, Kody Lostroh, Myself and Brian Canter.

Kody, as of last night is ranked #2 in the world.

Apparently he is very hot in the PBR world.

This is Harve Stewart and Me. Such a cute boy. It's a good thing I'm not his momma or he wouldn't be ridin' bulls!

I'm off to Vegas in the morning...I'm taking my lap top so I may post from Vegas unless I decide to go with the theme of Vegas of "What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas" ...Ha! Friday I plan on catching up on some much needed rest and you say...who goes to Vegas to rest? Anyway...take care and hopefully I'll have something fun to report.

Coton vs The Pumpkin Patch

This past Sunday Jennifer and I took Colton out to The Pumpkin Patch. Jen and I had planned to go to Old Town Spring and shop around. Tammy and Kyle had a date with the caterer for the wedding so I said I would take Colton with me. Jen found a Pumpkin Patch for us to visit.

Oh My!!! That little boy was all over the place and of course adding fits to the day as well...some of it was not fun. Even though it was a good time with Colton ...I did leave the Pumpkin Patch saying I would never go back again with him until he was at least 4. Ha!

It was hard to get pictures of him cause he was running all over the place but I did get a few so here are the best ones.

The top one is of Colton in the mist of pumpkins. He was sitting on one and then fell in between them.

The next picture is the best one I could get of him posing for the camera. He has a Cheetos face but when dealing with an almost 2 year old you gotta take your shots when you can. Still a cute picture and of course a memory this Gram won't forget.

This last picture was actually one of the first pictures I took. I couldn't get him to sit with the pumpkins, he wanted to roll them all around.

A Little Visitor

Colton came to spend the day yesterday and spent the night...we went out this morning to play with the cool front that came in...it was very nice. Just had a to show of my sweet little grandson. Look at all those beautiful blonde curls.
