Day 3 of My Canadian Adventure

On my third day in Niagara Falls I attended a wedding.
I think of myself as the wedding crasher.
My cousins daughter Christina got married and that was her reason for making the trip to Canada.
I then saw she was going and wanted to go and so arrangements were made for my cousin to extend her time in Canada where we could make a fun vacation out of it.
And a fun time we did have.
Below is my cousin Lonnie with her eldest daughter Christina. It was a small ceremony in her room with her mom,2 sisters, her father and myself in attendance.
After the ceremony we all went outside to the courtyard park like setting for them to take their pictures.
Below is a picture looking out.
It was so awesome to just look out in lots of directions and see The Falls. Here is my cousin and myself....Falls in the background.

And Tulips were everywhere....they were beautiful and every time I saw them and took pictures of them I thought of my friend Fonda....I knew she would of just loved all the beautiful flowers and trees I saw on this trip.

And another picture in a area of this park like setting courtyard.

After the ceremony and pictures...we all went upstairs to change and get comfortable for dinner. We soon found out that dining room in the hotel did not open until 5...it was 3...so some relaxed in their rooms (us being one) and some walked around...we met up at 5 for dinner.
Had a lot of fun and laughs.
It was raining a little and we had talked about going walking.
I think I remember saying I wasn't going walking in the rain.
Well, not soon after we headed out, it rained...that should of been my first clue....so I stayed with everyone...we even bought rain ponchos with Canadian leaves on them.
The more we walked the more it rain and then the lightning started.
If you know me I'm not a big fan of the lightning.
We finally found our way into the casino and then to find our way out to the mail street to try and head back to the hotel.
We took the scenic route for some reason.
After rain, being wet, screaming from lightning and getting splashed by passing cars and being cold we finally made it back to the hotel were we all departed into our own rooms.
It was still a fun night...sorry there are no pictures to document the night but with the rain I didn't want my camera getting wet and of course the water camera was back at the hotel seeing that I wasn't going to go walking in the rain.

You didn't tell me about the tulips! They are gorgeous! I am not officially jealous of your trip to Canada. Great job in relaying today's adventure...especially the part about no pictures in spite of having a WATER camera. I can hardly believe you went out and got your hair wet! I am laughing just envisioning that stroll!!

Can't wait until tomorrow!
